What would you feed the fish? For Fish, There is possibility that Sea plants are there in ocean, if not we have to Plant them anyway and fishes may need to be feed through limited stock of fish food, until their food chain completed. That is also a separate issue, need to be discuss in detail. Alternatively and Additionally other crops can also be grown there to feed ourselves. Water, Oxygen and reasonable temperature would already be there possibly. So Have to provide them light. I think growing algae is a possibility (probably not large terrestrial plants). If there are plants or other life on Europa already, there is a large possibility Earth organisms would not be able to digest them. Even if we could, they may be very toxic to our systems. Growing any sort of meat product would be very inefficient. As a rough estimate, if we brought 100kg of fish food, we might get 10kg of edible meat from that stock. We also would need to worry about containment. For many of us, the primary reason Europa is such an intriguing target is because of the possibility of life on the moon. We wouldn't want to have our fish (or algae for that matter) swimming freely through the ocean, possibly killing the native life there. I think it's a little early to plan on terraforming Europa. Mars would be the better target if we want to change the environment drastically. Moved
